I have spent most of my adult life living between cultures.

After 23 years in the United Kingdom, I am now based in Tokyo. Across more than two decades, I worked in roles spanning tourism, fashion, advertising, electronics, and international services — most often as an interpreter, personal assistant, or executive assistant: someone whose job it was to listen carefully, translate precisely, and hold things steady for others.

Earlier in my career I spent ten years teaching art, which deepened a longstanding interest in how people see, perceive, and make meaning.

Alongside all of this, I began exploring emotional and somatic healing work. Over time, and through many sessions with clients, that work evolved into what it is today — a practice grounded in deep listening, body awareness, and the kind of pattern recognition that comes from having observed people and communication across cultures for a very long time.

Somatic Clarity is the integration of all of that.
