Someone recently asked me if there’s a way to release negative energy on your own.
My answer is to “consume” the energy.
This doesn’t mean to exhaust yourself by creating more drama.
What I mean by “consume” is to fully experience the energy.
If you’re feeling sad, allow yourself to feel that sadness completely.
Be present with your emotions and truly experience what you’re feeling in the moment.
This process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several years, or even a lifetime, but it’s worth it.
Your commitment to understanding and accepting your feelings is crucial.
The first step is to become aware of your energy—how you’re feeling at any given time.
Once you recognise this, make an effort to fully experience and accept those feelings.
By doing so, you’ll find that these emotions stop haunting you repeatedly.
